ABOUT MICHEL
Michel is a surrealist painter known for his dreamlike compositions, emotionally charged figures, and deeply personal visual language. Drawing from mythology, memory, and mysticism, Michel’s work invites viewers into imagined worlds where the subconscious becomes tangible and stories unfold beyond logic.

Born in the Parisian suburbs, Michel’s early life was rich with cultural dualities — a foundation that continues to shape his layered, intuitive approach to painting. His art is rooted not only in technical craft but in a deep exploration of the human experience: emotion, loss, joy, and the in-between spaces we often ignore.

Now based in Miami, Michel works out of his private studio, where he’s currently developing a new series of surrealist works that blur the boundaries between the spiritual and the earthly. His paintings have been exhibited internationally and are held in private collections across France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Russia, Canada and the United States .

“I don’t paint what I see. I paint what I feel — what’s hidden, what’s quiet, what’s alive beneath the surface.” — Michel
